James Arlo Eddy Sr. 75, of Falkville passed away on January 6, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Marshall County to Buford and Berta Eddy and was preceded by them in death along with a brother, Loyd Eddy and sister, Leaten Smith.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Sparkman officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rescue Cemetery in Morgan City.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Weaver Eddy; three sons, Arlo Eddy Jr. and Stanley Eddy (Sheila), both of Hartselle, and Dennis Eddy, Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Donna Eddy of Falkville; three brothers, Shirley Eddy and Arnold Eddy, both of Hartselle, and Ronald Eddy of Fairview; two sisters, Etna Civils of Vinemont and Sandra Bingham of Hazel Green; seven grandchildren, Melisha Kenney, Kimberly Morrow, Mallory Steel, Nick Eddy, Misty Eddy, Autumn Eddy and Allison Eddy; four great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Arlo Eddy, Jr., Donnie Steel, Justin Morrow, Nick Eddy, Shannon Kenney and Stanley Eddy.
