James Anthony Stack
Mr. Stack, age 65, of Hornsby, passed from this life on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
He was born on Thursday, June 13, 1957 in Hammond, IN, the son of the late Hollis Wayne Stack and Martha Janette Davis Stack. The family moved to Hardeman County when James was a small boy and he lived the rest of his life here. On Friday, April 30, 1982, he was united in marriage to Janet Goodrum.
He worked for Vandiver Woodcraft, was a carpenter and also drove a school bus. A member of Abundant Life Church Christian Fellowship in Bolivar, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and yard work in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet G. Stack of Hornsby; two sons, Clayton Anthony Stack and wife, Anna and Clinton Duane Stack and wife, Kellie, all of Bolivar; one sister, Vicki Archibald and husband, Gary of Selmer; one brother, Hollis Wayne Stack, Jr. and wife, Cathy of Bolivar; and ten grandchildren, Sophia, Ryan, Nolan, Roman, Gideon, Kyle, Carlie, Caleb, Kaden and Kara Lynn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Walter and Maggie Davis.
