A celebration of life for James Andrew Carroll will be Sunday May 17, 4 pm at Cullman Funeral Home, with Rev. Kevin Wilburn officiating. A time of gathering with family and friends will be from 2-4 pm Sunday preceding the service.
James passed away at home Thursday May 14 in Cullman. He was born in Miami Florida November 20, 1959 to Bonnie Morrow Carroll and Elvin J Carroll. James graduated from Keokuk Senior High, Keokuk IA in 1979. He worked several years for Griffin Wheel in Iowa. James is preceded in death by his father Elvin J Carroll; Uncles William Wilhite, Michael Carroll and his grandparents.
James is survived by his parents Bonnie and Gerry Wilhite of Cullman AL, Sisters Cindy (Chris) Sandlin of Hartselle Al, Allison (Corrie) Stott of Denver NC, Amanda (Brett) King of Muscle Shoals AL, Nephew Joshua (Lindsey) Stott of Denver NC, Nieces Amy (Jason) Andrade of Cornelius NC, Emily Sandlin of Hartselle AL, Victoria King of Muscle Shoals, Alex Marie King of Muscle Shoals, Great nephews William and Jackson Andrade of Cornelius NC and a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles.
James loved the lord, his family, his friends, the Chicago Cubs and Alabama football. Everyone that knew James loved him and his sense of humor. He will be missed in this world and is celebrated in heaven today.
