James Alton Turner Jr., 55, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home, Athens. The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Majestic Chapel. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Gatlin Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
