James A. Hankey of Cullman passed away February 1, 2020 at the age of 73. He was born in Cullman November 1, 1946 to Amos and Alice Wilson Hankey. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Victoria Hammond Hankey, son Shawn Hankey. Funeral services are Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Moss Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow services in Hopewell in Hanceville Alabama. He is survived by 2 daughters: April (Craig) German, Heather Hankey, 3 sons: James Jr. (Shelbie) Hankey, Brad (Sherri) Hankey, Travis Bowen, 1 sister: Esther (Wells) Turner, 1 brother: Dennis (Sarah) Hankey, grandchildren: Hayden Witcher, Brodey Witcher, Peyton German, Brooklyn Hankey, Brayden Hankey, Sawyer Hankey, Paige (Jacob) Stewart, Clara Hankey, Tillie Hankey and Jade Hankey. Pallbearers are: Hayden Witcher, Brodey Witcher, Craig German, Rusty Turner, Steven Johns and Jeff Crane. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Moss Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
