James A. Burns, Jr., 50, of Florence, passed away August 31, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Burns, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathy Pickens Burns; sons, Allen Burns (Beth), Joey Burns; grandchildren, Kasey, Kaden, Katelynn, Sierrah, Adam, and Shianna who loved their pawpaw and he will be missed dearly; mother, Christine Burns; sisters, Debra Tank, Brenda Bevis, and Christy Thompson.
Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who helped take care of him. A special thanks to Dr. Shukula, Dr. Haq, and for everyone’s kind words in our time of sorrow.
