Jake Hudson, 88, of Florence, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ. Greenview Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ona Mae Haithcoat Hudson; parents, Jolly and Eula Mae Rickard Hudson; son, Gary Keith Hudson.
Jake is survived by his sons, Terry Lynn Hudson (Donna) and Gregory O’Neal Hudson (Lana); daughter, Suzanne Hudson Sims (David); brothers, Ricky Hudson, Barry Hudson, Larry Hudson, Freddie Hudson; sister, Sherry Hudson Miller; grandchildren, Summer Schaberl and Stephanie Mae Sims; great grandchildren, Declan Giles, Liam Giles, and Aislinn Giles.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Pallbearers were Terry Hudson, David Sims, Ricky Hudson, Randy Lyons, Dwayne Schaberl, Samuel Hudson, and Liam Giles.
Honorary pallbearer was Declan Rowe Giles.
