Jahnson L. Stone passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Jahnson was born October 10, 1965 to Margaret R. Allen (Nanny) and Billy R. Stone in Huntsville. He was a 1984 graduate of Huntsville High School and attended Huntington College, where he played baseball.

Jahnson truly lived life to the fullest. He had the ability to make anyone smile, laugh and feel like family. Golfing, running and cooking were among some of his favorite things to do. He was as stubborn as they come, but will forever be remembered as the big brother that took his baby sister for donuts every Friday night while growing up.

Loved and cared for by all he met, he will sorely be missed by family and friends. He will be remembered for his enduring personality, infectious smile and the ability to bring together complete strangers. He was the son, the brother, and the friend we all wanted him to be. Most importantly, he was the father he needed to be. The countless memories he made from childhood to adulthood will forever live in all our hearts.

Jahnson is survived by his parents: Margaret Allen and Billy (Patricia) Stone; his children, Sydney Rae Stone, Sarah Lindsay Pounds and Jonathan Scott Alicea; his siblings, Kenny (Christina) Stone, Sherry (David) Kincaid and Cindy (Mark) Semmler; nieces and nephews, Shannon Rogers Martin, Andrea Scott, Tony McElyea, Ashton and Dylan Crumbley, Russell, Brandi and Savannah Semmler; grandchildren, Autumn and Willow Pounds; and A LOT of family/friends, including several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends (you know who you are). CHEERS FROM JAHNSON!!

Visitation for Mr. Stone is Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with Rev. John Crocker officiating. Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery in Owens Crossroads.
