Jacqueline is survived by her children David (Nora), Maryann (Bruce), and Pamela (Chris). She was
lovingly called “Geeki” by her grandchildren: Amie, Jonathan, David, Michael, Hannah, Nora, Jesse,
Jared, Rebekah, Caleb, Julia, Susannah, Isaac, Abigail, Jonah, Justin, Tejay, Jeraca; and great grandchildren: Nathan, Brock, Heaven, Brooklyn, Brian, Kaiden, Anthony, Victoria, Nicholas, and Juno; and one great-great grandchild: Eleanor. She is also survived by her brother Richard Kane.
Jacqueline (Jackie) was preceded by her husband “Honey” of 63 years, Charles, her sisters; Rita and Patricia; her daughter Darlene, and her son Timothy.
Jackie was born in Long Branch, NJ on August 7, 1935. As a teenager she worked at her foster brother’s farm driving a tractor and delivering goods. At the age of 22 she married Charles. They were blessed with 5 children in 12 years. Jacqueline loved being a “housewife”. She was organized and frugal. She embraced all the aspects of being a homemaker by keeping an orderly home, abiding by a schedule, and embraced the art of cooking. She was an excellent cook, making homemade snacks and themed meals for fun. She loved the beach, especially those with lighthouses. She was good with a budget and always balanced the checkbook down to the penny.
Jacki loved God first, then others. Besides serving her family, she was very involved with the church in a variety of ways: teaching, making meals, missions, and years of preparing crafts for VBS. She and Charles were also church janitors. She was an avid bird watcher and loved to share her knowledge and her bird books with others. Many mornings she could be found with a cup of coffee on the front porch, watching her beloved birds that she loyally fed each day.
Her gentle spirit and servant heart will be missed by many.
