Jacolby Marquis Moore was born January 10, 1992, in Huntsville, AL. He departed this life December 11, 2023.
Jacolby “Black” Moore was a very loving and kindhearted young man. He always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around. Above all else he loved his family. He had the mindset of an entrepreneur and started his own line “Blackland”. He will truly be missed and forever in our hearts.
He leaves to cherish his memories his fiancé La’Princia Miller; two children, Kolby Michelle Moore and Xavier Ja’Bez McCaulley; mother, Kelley Smith (Terry); father, Tommie Scott, Jr., (Fatimah); three sisters, Chelsea Smith-Hankins (Devin), Ashunte Smith-Berry (Kourtney), and Terri Smith; one brother, Allante Markell Scott; grandmothers, Barbara Moore Peeples and Daisy Mae Scott (Tommie Scott, Sr. deceased); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.
Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW, Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Damien Turner officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
The Moore family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2023, and 8:30 until 12:30 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
