Jacob C. Lawyer, 75, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph “Salty” and Pauline Lawyer of Plainville, IN, and son, Todd Lawyer, and brother, Philip Lawyer.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kathleen D. Lawyer; son, Bradley Lawyer of Washington, IN; daughter, Roxana Holt of Graymont, IL; stepson, David Johnson, Jr. of Memphis, TN; stepdaughter, Christine Gordon of Anniston, AL; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley McCann of Huntsville, AL; and brother, John David Lawyer also of Huntsville.
Mr. Lawyer was a 50 year member of Masonics, Solar Lodge #914, Huntsville, AL, a lifetime member of Gold Wing Road Riders, Association, Rocket City Wings AL-B in Huntsville, AL. He was an avid NASCAR fan and motorcycle rider.
Services will be held at First Christian Church at a later date.
