Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Arrest Three On Drug And Weapons Charges

JACKSON COUNTY-On May 3, 2023 at about 4 PM, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Stevenson Police Department were attempting to serve an outstanding arrest warrant on County Road 287 in Stevenson, AL.  During this investigation, Deputies conducted a search of the property and located approximately 388 grams of Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, Fentanyl, Methadone, Marijuana, Three (3) Weapons and Drug Paraphernalia.  Three (3) person were arrested as listed below:

Thomas BAILEY age 49 of Stevenson, AL. who was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest.  Bailey was also charged with two (2) outstanding arrest warrants for Attempting to Elude and a Probation Revocation.  BAILEY remains in the Jacksons County Jail on $29,000 Bond.

Floyd STONE age 67 of Stevenson, AL. who was charged with Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Methadone, Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. STONE was released from the Jackson County Jail on $8,500 Bond.

Jamie SMITH age 63 of Trenton, AL. who was charged with Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Methadone, Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. SMITH was released from the Jackson County Jail on $8,500 Bond.

This investigation is continuing and additional arrests are anticipated.
