JACKSON COUNTY-The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department released a statement concerning the arrest of two suspects who have been charged with several drug-related charges:
“On Friday June 18, 2021 a joint investigation by the Bridgeport Police Department, Stevenson Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office culminated in the search of a residence on Ohio Ave in Stevenson, Alabama. Based on this search, approximately 1.04 pounds of Synthetic Marijuana (SPICE), .25 grams of Methamphetamine, 6 ounces of Marijuana, 90 oxycodone pills, 13 Vapes containing THC, and Drug Paraphernalia were located and seized.
Arrested in connection with this investigation were:
Nicholas Lashaun PRICE age 33 of Stevenson, AL. who was charged with Trafficking in Spice, Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Oxycodone) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. PRICE was released on June 19, 2021 on a $28,800 Bond.
Kevin Lashane SMITH age 29 of Hollywood, AL. who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Spice), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. SMITH was released on June 19, 2021 on a $5,500 Bond.”
