A Memorial Service for Jackie Penn, 67, will be Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Penn died on Monday, March 4, 2024 at her residence. She was born December 6, 1956, in Georgia to John Athel and Frances Vaughn Penn.
Jackie served our Country with the U.S. Army for 20 years. She retired as a Sergeant First Class and also served as a Drill Sergeant. She loved baseball and women’s softball. She also enjoyed cooking, especially homemade bread. She loved helping others and was available to help her neighbors when needed. She was born in Atlanta but visited Hartselle as a child to see family often before moving here as an adult and will always be a member of the “Cedar Street Gang”.
Ms. Penn was preceded in death by her parents.
