Ms. Jackie Marie Harwood, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the age of 63.
Ms. Harwood was born on May 13, 1959 to Thomas Owen “Jack” Harwood and Faye Nell Hayes in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked as a cashier, but in her free time, she greatly enjoyed doing research on her family’s history. When she wasn’t doing research, she enjoyed watching Alabama football. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and would often go check on people when she hadn’t heard from them.
Ms. Harwood leaves memories behind to be cherished by her ex-husband, Phillip “Moose” Adcock; brother, Thomas Harwood; sister, Barbara Hulsey; niece, Brittany Boyette (Phillip); great-nephew, Lucas Gigandet; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ms. Harwood is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Fay Nell Harwood; sister, Eliza Ann Harwood; and brother, Richard Earl Harwood.
The family will host a visitation on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Brother Randy L. Blakely. Burial will follow at Brashier’s Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
