Mr. Jackie Leon Clark, Sr.,51, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo. Jackie was born on January 8, 1966 to Howard and Ester Clark. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
A service celebrating his life will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2017 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Joel Ray officiating. Private burial will follow in Doty Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 Noon until service time at the Tupelo Chapel.
He is survived by his sons Jackie Clark, Jr., Michael Lee Clark; daughter, April Witcher (Anthony); his mother, Ester Clark; brothers Michael E. Clark (Angie), Billy Ray Raper (Brenda), Joe A. Raper (Gail); sisters Hilda Carter, Tootsie Smith, Carolyn McCollum (Donny), Peggy Brewer (Larry), Mary Priest (Ray); as well as seven grandchildren, several very loved nieces and nephews, and two very good friends, Frank Breland and Billy Lansdale.
He was preceded in death by his wife whom he adored, Wanda Clark, on February 10, 2006; father Howard Clark; brother Tony Clark; and sister Patricia Ann Rosamond.
