Jackie “Jack” Baker Jr., age 69 of Bear Creek, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1955 to Jackie Baker and Elsie Townsend. Jack was a minister who loved God, was a member of My Father’s House Church in Russellville, and he enjoyed spending his spare time fishing. Jack is survived by his wife, Brenda Baker; daughter, Krystal (Boyde) Neville; grandchildren, Spencer, Blake, and Savannah Neville; brother, Brian (Alicia) Baker, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie Baker Sr., and Elsie (Willie) Townsend; sisters, Nell Saylor, Debra Salters, and Sandy Williams; and brothers, Wayne and Ronnie Townsend. Memorial services will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 at My Father’s House (104 East Lawrence Street, Russellville, Alabama 35653) at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Pearl Shelton will officiate.
