Jackie Headrick departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, 22 days. She was born in Preston, Idaho on May 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Lewis Ezra and Florence Melena Chapman Wixom. On September 8, 1947, she was united in marriage to Ray Jackson Headrick, who preceded her in death on September 15, 1982.
Jackie was raised in Alameda, California. She retired from Southwest Human Resource Agency as a Chore Client Associate. Jackie was a homemaker and the secretary and treasurer of the Hardin County Fair for 10 years. She enjoyed painting, sewing, cooking, and was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her son, Kreg Headrick of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Christy Headrick Hodges, Kelly Linam, and Mindy Headrick; great grandchildren, James Moore, Randy Moore, Jonathon Linam, Alexa Gurley, Weston Phillips, and Enderli Headrick; great-great grandchildren, Kaylynn Moore, Randall Moore, Aubree Moore, Landon Gurley, and Rylee Hawkins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ray Wayne Headrick; sisters, Edna Wixom Perkins, Hellen Wixom, Thelma Wixom Reiss, Nellie Wixom Mesh, and Fern Chewning; brothers, Weldon Wixom, George Wixom, and Neal Wixom.
