Jackie David “Doc” Risner, 74, of Rogersville, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as a pipefitter with Local #760, Muscle Shoals. A well-known hobby of Jackie’s was rebuilding Dodge trucks.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 18th from 11 – 1 at Rogersville Funeral Home with service to follow in the chapel. Bobby Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery with pallbearers, D. J. Wisdom, Dale Oliver, Damien Spencer, Nicole Letizi, Connor Lopp and Joshua Height.
Mr. Risner was preceded in death by his parents, Pawpaw & Honie Risner and his brother, James Risner. He is survived by his wife, Mary Woods; sisters, Nancy Wisdom (Tom Newton), Diane Oliver and Brenda Manley (Roy Lynn); numerous nieces and nephews.
