Jackalee Lewis, 81, of Athens, AL passed away Saturday September 26, 2026, at Valley View Health and Rehab.She was born February 2, 1945, in Kentucky. Mrs. Lewis enjoyed cooking, working in her flower gardens, going to car shows and reading. She really enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She loved them unconditionally, enjoyed picking up her grandchildren from school and going to watch every ball game she could make it to. She especially loved basketball games.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Charles Lewis, two sons Allen Dale Lewis (Sandra) and Joseph Lynn Lewis, five grandchildren David, Anna, Drake, Jacob, and Alex, four great grandchildren Della, Lou, Colbie, Easton.
The Funeral Service will be Wednesday September 30, 2016, at 2 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Doug Fields officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
