 Jack Thomas Vance of PickwickJack Thomas Vance was born August 26, 1937 in Houlka, MS, the son of the late William David Warn Vance and Rubie Jewel Holley Vance. He was united in marriage to Judith Ann Ring on August 10, 1977. He attended People’s Tabernacle in Savannah, TN and was one of the founders of Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Bethel Springs, TN. He served our country proudly in the Navy Air Corps. He loved God, his family and his country.

Mr. Vance departed this life on September 5, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 10 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Vance of Pickwick; his children: Stevie Lea Holmes and husband Michael of Lexington, TN, James Anthony Vance of Shannon, MS, Cynthia Ann Richards of CA; six grandchildren: Culen and Connor Vance, Aubrey, Avery, Anna and Abram Holmes; three sisters: Lawanda Meeks of Ripley, MS, Barbara Booker and husband Clarence of Ripley, MS, Linda Faye Hale of Walls, MS; a brother, Billy Ray Vance of Ripley, MS; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Vance was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Hoffman; three sisters: Ruby Stump, Helen Burroughs, Dorothy Jean Vance; and a brother, Jimmy Vance.
