Jack Neal Norwood of Minor Hill passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born in Minor Hill, TN. on February 23, 1939 and was 79 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Jack was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, (Tennessee Air National Guard), former Alderman of Minor Hill, retired as the administrator of the Alternative School in Pulaski, and a long time teacher and principal. He enjoyed farming, the outdoors, loved fishing, history, and animals (especially horses). He had an unwavering and devoted love for the Lord and his family.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 16th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, November 17th at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial to follow in Minor Hill Cemetery with full military honors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Thurman and Elizabeth Lou McKinney Norwood and brother, Bob Norwood.

Son, Nick (Kate) Norwood of Cleveland, TN.
Son, Nevin (Kari) Norwood of Nolensville, TN.
Daughter, Nissa Norwood of Rockaway Beach, MO.
Step-daughter, Tia Honea of Delrose, TN.
Sister, Judy (Jim) Stewart of Fayetteville, TN.
8 grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
