Graveside services for Jack H. “Rocky” Brown, Jr. age 58, of Lineville will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Lineville, with Bro. John Luckie officiating. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we request anyone in attendance to please wear a mask and practice social distancing

Mr. Brown passed away Wednesday March 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Grenada, Mississippi, but graduated from Spencer High School in Columbus, Georgia, had lived several other states including South Carolina, North Carolina, but called Alabama home for the past several years. He attended Columbus Technical School where he was certified in welding. He went on to get certified to NASA specifications, and used that certification in his employment with General Engineering; one of NASA’s Contractors. He also worked for several years with L.E. Bell Construction.

He is survived by one son, Jacob Brown (Brittany) of Locus Grove, Georgia, his mother, Irene S. Brown of Ashland, sister, Laretha Siggers (Randy) of Wadley, brother, Larry Wayne Brown (Rhonda) of Mellow Valley, one granddaughter, Arayah Rose-Marie Brown, nieces nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Harrison Brown, Sr. and his infant son, James Howard Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with the funeral and medical expenses.

Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the services.
