Jack Douglas “Doug” Crowe, 63 of Arab, died Thursday November 16, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Crowe was born July 3, 1954 in Jefferson County to Jack Vincent Crowe and Bonnie Ruth Little Crowe. He was a 1973 graduate of J.B. Pennington High School and worked as a machine operator for Atrion Medical in Arab. He and the former Margaret Ann Mangum were married for 42 years. He enjoyed boating, camping, spending time with his grandchildren, antique cars, Alabama football and fixing stuff. He was very involved in his Church where he served as a Deacon and taught Sunday School.
Mr. Crowe was a member of Hebron Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife: Ann Mangum Crowe, his sons and daughters-in-law: Josh Crowe, Jeremy Crowe and Jesica and his third son Ronnie Trammell and Leah; his grandchildren: Timothy Crowe, Kyle Crowe, Zac Crowe, Lincoln Crowe and Elliot Crowe; his sisters and brother-in-law: Donna Hammett and James and Sherry Smith and his brothers and sister-in-law: Paul Crowe and Vickie. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jack Vincent and Bonnie Ruth Crowe.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 19, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers; Brad Howard and Brock Johnson, officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Noojin, Joel Moore, Michael Deese, Reggie Basenburg, Ronnie Trammell, Brian Leeth, Craig Madden and T.J. Blackmon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Hammett and L.B. White
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday November 18, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
