Mr. Jack Barnard PerkinsMr. Jack Barnard Perkins, of Morgan City area of Lacey’s Spring, Alabama, passed into a better life at his residence with family and friends by his side on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 69.
Mr. Perkins was born on September 14, 1953 to William B. “Tweet” Perkins and Mildred Perkins. He owned and operated Raceway Service Station in Morgan City for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; William “Tweet” and Mildred Perkins, two brothers; Billy and Bobby Perkins, and one almost sister; Henrietta Mason.
Mr. Perkins leaves memories behind to be cherished by his wife of 33 years; Betty D. Perkins, two daughters; Kelly Ferguson and Jaclyn Perkins (John White), one sister; Carolyn Paul, four granddaughters; Morgan Cothren, Payton Christa (Cody), Zoe and Piper White, one great grandson; Remington Christa, special person; Matthew Hammack, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Payton Christa and Morgan Cothren.
Family has elected cremation after the service and has asked loved ones not to purchase flowers for Mr. Perkins service.
