Jack Arnold DoddLt Col Jack A. Dodd passed away on December 28, 2025, at Cullman Regional Hospital at the age of 88. He was born November 20, 1937, to Edward A. Dodd and E. Pearl McKeever Dodd in Birmingham, AL. He was an active member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Curry and a retired employee of Alabama Power Company. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Alabama Air National Guard. He was an active pilot of the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol and flew many missions looking for downed planes, D.E.A. drug patrols and Customs. He received many accolades, awards, and promotions during his military service. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia D. McCullough; and an identical twin brother, Jerry A. Dodd.

Survivors include his wife, Carol M. Dodd, a daughter, Tamara A. Dodd, and a host of cousins, nieces, family and friends.
