J W Defoor, age 79, of Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday June 5, 2016 at his home.
He was a coal miner and a member of Open Door Baptist Church.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service is Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow in Ephesus Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Thera Mae Rodgers Defoor; children, Danny(Rhonda)Defoor, Susie(Jeff)Taylor, Kevin(Cindy)Defoor; grandchildren, Stacy(Jesse)Fuson, Stephen(Jana)Defoor, Jessica(John)Collingwood, Joseph(Britny)Taylor,Gracie Defoor, Lilie Defoor; great grandchildren, Alexander(Xander)Fuson, Payton Taylor; brothers, Claude Defoor, Clayburn Defoor; sister, Latrivia Defoor Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ola Tittle Defoor;Harold Defoor, Nener Defoor Tittle, LE Defoor Hannah, Ila V. Defoor Glenn Aldridge, ML Defoor.
