J.T. “Jake” Woodfin age 90 passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Woodfin was born February 19, 1923 in Limestone County to John Woodfin and Arie Hargrove Woodfin.
Services for Mr. Woodfin are Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Everett Conn officiating.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Lorine Woodfin; children, Joan and Robert Calloway, Steve and Ellen Woodfin and Randall and Shelia Woodfin; sister, Lou Emma Owen; grandchildren, Christopher Woodfin, Clint and Brie Woodfin, Jamie Woodfin, Stuart and Jamie Woodfin and Ryan Calloway; great-grandchildren, Addison Woodfin and Lily Cate Woodfin.
Pallbearers are Christopher Woodfin, Stuart Woodfin, Clint Woodfin, Ryan Calloway, Jamie Woodfin and Robert Calloway.
The family has requested no flowers.
