J.P. Haley, age 76, Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday November 14, 014 at his home. He was a retired Fire Fighter with the Haleyville Fire Dept. having been a member for 34 years, a member of Mt. View Freewill Baptist Church in Russellville.
His visitation will be Sunday November 16,2 104 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with his funeral on Monday November 17, 2014 at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Jerry Albright and John Barton officiating, burial to follow with Fireman Honor’s at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth Haley; children, Kathy D. Davis, Ronnie D. Haley, Sharon L. Finelli and Debra A. Kelley; brothers, James Harold Haley and Jerry Wayne Haley; ;sisters, Agnes Lee Dodd and Betty Jean Downey; grandchildren, Stephanie Boyd, Lindsey Mays, Melissa Wakefield, Amy Wood, Kaitlin Haley, Anthony Finelli, Haley Finelli, Cortney Ingle and Austin Hollaway; great grandchildren, Candace Boyd, Tanner Boyd, Blake Boyd, Charlsie Mills, Logan Mays, Copper Mays, Caroline Mays and Garrett Wakefield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Chesley and Bethel Eads Haley; sisters, Annie Ruth Haley and Mary Catherine Haley.
