J. D. Terrell – Obituary

J. D. Terrell, 96, of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at his residence after an extended illness.

He was retired from Reynolds Alloy, after 46 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 17th from 12 noon until 2 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Ralton McCarley officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Terrell; son, Jimmy Linley, Sr.; and grandson, Donald Gene Linley.

He is survived by his son, Don Hugh Linley, Sr. and wife Sandra; daughter, Beverly Dale Archer; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Linley, Kevin Linley, Zach Linley, Terry Archer, Austin Archer, and Bobby Archer.

The family expresses special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, Alabama Healthcare, the private sitters, and especially Jeff Owens and Cindy Nelson for all of their loving care.
