J.C. Pitts, 90, died Thursday, June 6, 2013. Visitation will be 8 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Old Union Church. Waynesboro. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the church, with burial in Highland United Methodist Church, Lawrenceburg. Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is directing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Staggs Pitts.
