J.C. Garrison, age 85, Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, March 05, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.
The visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. James McCullar. Burial will be at Hyde Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Paul Garrison, mother, Callie Lee Garrison; sons, Claude Raymond Garrison and Jerry Wayne Garrison.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 70 years, Mary Etna Garrison; daughter, Barbara Higgins (husband, Donny); daughter-in-law, Deborah Garrison, all of Tuscumbia; four grandsons, five granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Auther (Buddy) Garrison, Paul Garrison; and several nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Charles Michael, Richie Michael, James Brown, Kevin Brown, Reggie Michael, and Nathan Mitchell.
