J.C. was born on January 12, 1953 in Bear Creek, Alabama.
A private service will be held at a later time.
J.C. is survived by his wife, Debbie Britnell; children, Adam Britnell, Megan (John Bowen) Britnell, Coy Britnell, Brodie Britnell, and Alex Britnell; grandson, Caleb Britnell; sister Norma Jean (Jacks) Roberts; and brother, Hollis Britnell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Bernice Britnell; and his niece, Michelle Roberts.
