Ivie Lee Swinney Aday, age 77, of Sheffield, AL passed away Sunday May, 2016 at her residence.Visitation will be Tuesday May 3,2016 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 12:00-2:00pm with service to Follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be in the Colbert Memorial Gardens .Officiating will be Bro. Greg Beasley. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs Ivie Swinney Aday was preceded in death by parents, Henry Grady and Virgie Rosetta Newell Weeks; Husband Dewey Hayward Swinney son, Kenneth Michael Swinney; grandchild, Haylee Hargett.
Survivors are husband, Floyd Andrew Aday of Sheffield; daughters, Kimberly R. Moore (David),of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Tina J. Hargett of Chattanooga, TN;step-son, Bret Aday (Jana), sister, Tressie Cooper of Muscle Shoals, AL; grandchildren, Tiffany F. Saint (David), Brittany L. Bower (Trip) ,Dustin M. Swinney, Lindsay J. Kerr (Joel),Torre A. Hargett, Colton A. Sherrill (Hart), Savannah L. Gwin ( George) Grayson R. Hargett, Sam K. Sherrill , and Jaxon Aday. great grandchildren, Sagan Adara Hart, and Jett Wesley Kerr.
Pallbearers will be Dustin M. Swinney, Torre A. Hargett, Grayson R. Hargett, Colton A. Sherrill, Samuel K. Sherrill, David L. Saint, and Joel W. Kerr and Brett Aday. Honorary pallbearers will be Sagan Adara Hart and Jett Wesley Kerr. Colbert Memorial is assisting the family.
