Iva Dell Miller, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. She was born March 7, 1936 in Alabama and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy in Golden, MS.
Services will be Saturday, January 19, 1 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, Golden, MS with Bro. Edwin Pharr and Bro. Marvis Bostick officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one son – Royce Miller (Joyce) Vina, AL; one daughter – Wanda Cleveland (Jackie) Montgomery, AL; three sisters – Helen Cox (Ray) Vina, AL, Eva Wiginton, Hamilton, AL and Evie Strange (Troy) Mantachie, MS; two brothers – Mack Brewer (Dianne) Hamilton, AL and Gene Brewer (Anita) Hamilton, AL; four grandchildren – Jeffrey Cleveland (Stefanie), Erik Miller (Kayla), Jeremy Cleveland (Candace), Amanda Adams (Johnny) and nine great-grandchildren – Jonathon Cleveland, Alexis Adams, Cruise Miller, Jeriah Cleveland, Brycen Adams, Gracie Miller, Grayson Cleveland, Emmy Claire Cleveland and Carriana Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Alvie Miller, a daughter, Carolyn Miller, parents, Curtis and Melissa Brewer and two brothers, Elmer Brewer and Alvie Brewer.
Pallbearers will be Erik Miller, Jeffrey Cleveland, Jeremy Cleveland, Johnny Adams, Kenny Holland, Terry Brewer and Jason Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Cleveland, Alexis Adams, Cruise Miller, Jeriah Cleveland, Brycen Adams, Gracie Miller, Grayson Cleveland, Emmy Claire Cleveland and Carriana Cleveland.
Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL and she will lie in state Saturday, January 19, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, Golden, MS.
