TUSCUMBIA – The folks at KEEP THE SHOALS BEAUTIFUL (KTSB). had a big morning at Spring Park Thursday. Scores of “warm-weather-energized’ Shoals residents showed up for the big flower giveaway. It is always a harbinger of the warmer months, these flower giveaways. KTSB and the Shoals Master Gardeners partnered this morning and gave away hundreds of hydrangea plants. Lots of folks from The Arc of The Shoals were there. Our photographer (Sheri Wiggins) followed them back to their historic facility on Old Lee Highway. They couldn’t wait to get started on planting!
The Quad-Cities Daily was there to take some photos of the participants, and also to score some hydrangeas! We present some photos from the special occasion.
