Isaac Wilbur Goode, of Hillview, age 90, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. He was born in Mineral Springs, Alabama to the late John C. and Addie Black Goode.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charline McConnell; his grandson, Ryan Cullum; and his brother, Jerry Goode.
He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Goode Ferrell; his sister, Carolyn Simon; his brothers, Harold Goode and Wayne Goode; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a proud veteran of WWII, serving on the USS Iowa as a Petty Officer Third Class in Ship Service. He was retired from US Steel as a Fireman and Fire Inspector.
Funeral services will be Friday January 27, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Bivens Chapel United Methodist Church in Brookside, Alabama. Visitation will be at 11:00 am. Rev. Glenn Keedy will officiate. Burial will follow at Bivens Chapel Cemetery.
