Gladys Hazel Ivey, age 87 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away April 10, 2025. She was retired owner/secretary of Winston Trailers and attended Bethel Baptist # 2 Church.
She was the salutatorian of her graduating class of 1956 at Phillips High School. Her classmates remember her for her giggles and that she was a great giver of unsolicited advice. She had a generous heart and gave to those she loved and others without question. She loved her children fiercely and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.
She is survived by her children, Michael Dale (Anissa) Ivey and Shelia Ann Ivey; grandchildren, Tanner Ivey , Kylie Ivey and Maggie McGough; and great grandchildren, Collins, Korbin and Creed Terry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burley and Fannie Mae Stockton; husband, Shellie Kenneth Ivey; son, Kenneth Layne Ivey; brothers, Joe Stockton and Jerry Stockton.
