Irvin Schell Mengel, 93, Russellville, Ala., passed away November 14, 2012, at his residence. He was a native of New Jersey, but had lived in Russellville for the past 12 years. Funeral service was held Sat., Nov. 17, 2012, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Josh Miller officiating. Burial was in Tharptown Cemetery. Visitation was prior to the service from 1p.m. until 2 p.m. Survivors include two daughters; special friends, Debbie and Shane Goss. He was preceded in death by wife, Ethel Mengel.
