Irvin Clinton “Clint” Malone, 68, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay, AL to Lercy Granville and Nadine Crane Malone. He worked at Sunshine Homes for many years and retired as a production manager from Kith Kitchens in Haleyville. Clinton loved everything outdoors from farming to fishing and hunting. He planted hay to share with the community for many years. He loved his family fiercely and was a wonderful father, pawpaw, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, neighbor and a friend to many. Clinton was a loving husband to Diane and took care of everything that needed to be done.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 3, 12 noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Colburn Malone; children, Cindy Colburn Garrett, Mistie Malone Smith (Stephen) and Danyelle Malone Frye (Tim); grandchildren, Faith Smith, Lydia Frye, Hope Smith and Charity Smith; sister, Lana Garcia; brother, Marty Malone and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaylen Dean Garrett; his parents and his father and mother-in-law, Bobby Ray and Bobby Jean Colburn of Hamilton, AL.
