Mrs. Irma Jean Flanagan departed this world to her heavenly home on September 10, 2025.
She was born to Hess and Lillie Wilbourn on November 06, 1934 in Trenton, Alabama.
Mrs. Irma Jean was a resident of Garth, Alabama and was a member of Garth Union Baptist Church.
For those who knew and loved her, will remember her perseverance, her love for her family, her unfailing faith and her spirited temperament.
Mrs. Irma Jean is survived by her daughters, Carol Luladakis (James), Debbie Maynor Wright, Ray Maynor.
Grandchildren Shad Hastings (Cheree), Trey (Sierra), Jonathan, Jackson and Kozic Hastings.
Colby, Makenzie, BreAnna and Justin Maynor.
Special nieces Ann Harmening (James) and Shelia Hodges (James David), along with many other special nieces and nephews.
Her loving pets Luly and Boo which meant the world to her and will miss her dearly.
Mrs. Irma Jean was proceeded in death by her husband J.C. Flanagan, her grandson Colby Maynor, siblings Gib, Harve, Ellis, Lora and Delera.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Patrick Tucker for taking care of our mother all through the years, Hospice Nurse Brittany aka “Bridgett”, the staff and volunteers at Aveanna Hospice, Caretaker Diane, Special Friends Mrs. Mary Ann and Mrs. Thelma.
Funeral service will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 1pm with Bro. Rick Fowler officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00am until time of service on Saturday with burial to follow at Paint Rock Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Trey Hastings, Jonathan Hastings, Justin Maynor, Dennis Utech, Erik Foshee, and Brandon Phillips.
