Iris Lea Bolton Threadgill age 64, of Jasper, Alabama passed away on January 3rd, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Iris is well known in her church community for her kind, giving heart and her love for life. She spent most of her retirement years involved with her grandchildren’s activities, and with her church family at Living Light Church of God in Jasper, Al.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Clifford Bolton and Alta Mae Bolton; brother Willice Bolton, son Todd Threadgill; and granddaughter Loralea Williams . She is survived by her husband of 45 years Paul “Joey” Threadgill; sisters Norma Dunn and Barbara Meadows; Brother Stanley Bolton (Rhonda); sister in law, Jane Bolton; Four children, Misty Williams (Joey), Michael Threadgill (Angie), Stephanie Threadgill Dickerson (Danny), Bo Threadgill (Jessica) and Jenny Threadgill Aaron (Jacob); 13 grandchildren and host of nieces & nephews.
Services will be held at Living Light Church of God in Jasper Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 6:00 pm, the visitation will be Saturday, January 6th, 2024 from 4:00pm until time of service. Bro. Joey Vick and Bro. Billy Driver will be officiating. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
