Irene Harper, 91 of Arab passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at her residence. Irene was born January 2, 1930, in Marshall County the daughter of William H. McElroy and Dora Ann Tidmore McElroy. She was a member of the Union Hill First Congregational Methodist Church and the Eastern Star-Amanda King Chapter. She was married to Wilbern Harper who preceded her in death on September 23, 2010.
She is survived by her Children: Glenda Moore (Thomas) and Randy Harper (Bonnie); Grandchildren: Danny Moore (Erin), David Moore (Kimberly) and James Harper; Great Grandchildren: Levi, Griffin, Hayden, Maggie, John Luke, Chandler, Mason, Hudson and Morgan.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Union Hill F.C.M. Church with Brother Shannon Black and Brother Jon Minyard officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Union Hill F.C.M. Church.
Pallbearers: Danny Moore, David Moore, James Harper, Chandler Moore, Levi Moore, Griffin Moore, Hayden Moore and Ricky Harper.
