Irene Guyton Brown, age 72 of Birmingham, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Gay-Reed Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her Mother-Rosie E. Coates; Father-Doc Coates; Sisters-Lula Pearl McGee, Maybelline Coates Thomas, Anna Mae Webb and Mary Ellan Stewart; Brother-Henry Moore, Jr.
She is survived by her Daughters-Tammy M. Grant, Verna L. Williams and Cynthia D. King (David); Son-Rodney M. Guyton; Grandkids-Darius Lake, Dominique Thomas, Demarkus Lake, John Grant, Jr., Anita Grant, Leslie Woods, Tyera Williams, Rebecca Williams, David Williams, Lester Jones, Jr., Aniya King and Anthony King, III; 9 Great Grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
