Irene Fanning, 95, of Huntsville, formerly of New Market, passed away Saturday at a local hospital. Mrs. Fanning was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ray Fanning. Survivors include her son: Dean Fanning and wife: Paulette; two brothers: Alvin Gipson and wife: Mary Nell and Winfred Gipson and wife: Wanda; one sister: Josie Spain; three grandchildren: Kim Vaughn and husband: Rex, Amanda Browner and husband: Doug and Brad Fanning and wife: Lea and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, December 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerome Hilliard and Rev. Doug Browner officiating. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery in New Market.
