Irene C. Gross, 92, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka. Mrs. Gross was born April 9, 1921. She was a member of the Iuka Church of Christ. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Ben McAnally. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one son, Jimmy Gross (Jennie) of Corinth; one daughter, Patty Booker (Steve) of Jackson, TN; eight grandchildren, Darren Booker (Laura), Alana Woomen (Glen), Brennan Booker (Leslie), Shanna Shearon (Matthew), Beau Gross (Alison), Sonni George, Devin Dickey (Heather), and Phillip Lewis; and twelve great-grandchildren, Michael Schredeger (Karrie), Tyler Schredeger, Matthew Booker, Macy Booker, Addison Shearon, Raine Shearon, Amy Kitchen (James), Heather George, Layla George, Anna Claire Ivy, Caroline Gross, and Mary Houston Ivy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Gross; her parents, John and Ida James Coon; two sisters, Myrtis Green and Jonnie Payne; and a grandson, Gary George.
