Funeral service for Irene Asherbranner Cutchens, 96, will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Alred and Bro. Roger Aldridge officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cutchens died on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born July 1, 1920, in Lawrence County to Oscar Smith and Lula Haynes Smith. She was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved quilting gardening and working with flowers. She was a mamber of Andrew Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Louis Asherbranner ad Enoch Cutchens, two daughters: Thelma Carr and Joyce Dale Asherbranner and her parents.
