Funeral services for Mrs. Irean Beecham Keen, age 80, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Center Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Keen passed away early Thursday in Lexington. She was born March 9, 1936 in Henderson County to the late Hobert and Lela Petty Beecham. She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and worked at Salant & Salant for 4 years and at South Haven Elementary as secretary for 27 years. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, infant Dennis Beecham, Howard Beecham, Lorine Ervin, Pauline Grissom, Hazel Duck, Gerttie Beecham, and Katherine Williams. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. Troy Keen of Lexington; two sons, Randal (Patty) Keen of Lexington and Joey (Carmeda) Keen of Jackson; one brother, Curtis Beecham of Reagan; two sisters, Jean Hudson of Huron and Geanette Johnson of Saltillo; and two granddaughters, Kendall Keen and Kendra Reeves.
