A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Inez Byrd Holmes, 91, will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rayford Milligan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holmes died on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at her residence. She was born October 1, 1928, in Morgan County to Thomas G. Byrd and Effie Chesteen Byrd. She was a homemaker and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Holmes, two sons: Johnnie Holmes and Franklin L. Holmes, her parents, three brothers: Paul, Troy and Rural Byrd and two sisters: Willie and Ruth.
