FLORENCE-It’s getting close to July 4th – almost IndePAWdence Day! Chloe’s Fund volunteer bakers have put their creative minds together presenting an assortment of delicious treats for the CHLOE’S FUND INDEPAWDENCE DAY BAKE SALE! The Bake Sale is Saturday, June 28 from 10am to 1pm at the Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services Building, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence, AL. 100% of the money raised from the Bake Sale goes directly into Chloe’s Fund.
Pick your choice of cakes, cookies, breads, cupcakes, pies and various treats; all available
for you and your furbaby. Our bakers have become well known for their specialty items and everything is made fresh! It’s best to preorder our goodies; the IndePAWdence Day Bake Sale menu is on the following Facebook pages; Chloe’s Fund for Medical Needs of Florence Shelter Animals and Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. You can also Direct Message Lisa on Facebook (or call) to place your order – the deadline to pre-order the baked goods is Tuesday, June 24 at 3pm. You can pick up your order on Saturday, June 28 from 10am-1pm at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence. In addition to the pre-ordered menu items, there are always extra goodies the bakers were inspired to make available on sale day!
Chloe’s Fund was started in March of 2017 after shelter volunteers, Glen and Debby Nelson lost Chloe, their beloved dog of 16 years. After Chloe’s passing, the Nelsons and their friends set out on a mission to help as many sick and injured Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services’ animals as possible. Since its inception, Chloe’s Fund vetted and saved the lives of hundreds of animals suffering from various injuries, illnesses and in need of medical attention.
